Paradise Valley Highlights

Hiking—popular trails are Pine Creek Falls and Passage Creek Falls (easy/family friendly), and Pine Creek Lake (more challenging).
Pine Creek Lodge for good eats, brews, and outdoor live music (summer). Keep an eye out for yoga and mimosa specials. Cozy brunch spot by the woodstove (winter).
Chico Hot Springs for lodging, dining, and soaking.
Sage Lodge for dining, lodging, and guided fly-fishing trips.
The Old Saloon for some great local food (Rocky Mountain Oysters!), libations, and local color. Live music most weekends and throughout the summer.

Hikes: Petrified Forest Interpretive Hike (easy/family friendly) and Ramshorn Peak (more challenging).

Yankee Jim Canyon to Gardiner Highlights

Devil's Slide geological formation.
Ample pullouts for wildlife watching—bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, elk, deer, birds of prey.
Yellowstone Hot Springs for soaking at Corwin Springs.
Great views of Electric Peak.
End in Gardiner in the shadow of the Roosevelt Arch.
